Senior Frontend Engineer (React / Next.js)

A client of ours in the aviation sector is expanding its digital teams and is seeking experienced Frontend Engineers to support a large transformation programme.

Responsibilities:

• Develop scalable, production-ready front-end applications with React, TypeScript, and Next.js.
• Turn UI/UX designs into responsive, reusable components.
• Optimise rendering, performance, and SEO using Next.js capabilities.
• Integrate with APIs and headless CMS platforms.
• Contribute to Agile ceremonies with clear technical input.
• Collaborate with QA to ensure high-quality delivery.
• Promote accessibility, maintainable component design, and effective state management.
• Flag technical risks and dependencies to programme leadership

Required Experience:

• 5+ years building modern front-end applications at scale.
• Strong expertise in JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, React, and Next.js.
• Solid understanding of modern CSS tooling
• Experience with state and data libraries
• Ability to deliver solutions that balance technical quality and business value.
• Strong communication skills and experience working within Agile teams.
